Chiesa di Sant’Ambrogio We will start off in the very local neighborhood of Sant’ Ambrogio. Here we will visit a few different small shops to taste local favorites. Our tastings along the tour include everything from cantucci, coccoli, pizette, meats, cheeses, olive oil, truffle, and much more!
Duomo After a few tastings in the Sant’ Ambrogio area, we will then take a nice stroll through the city center twisting and turning on the local streets to enter into another local neighborhood.
Ponte Vecchio Enjoy a view of Ponte Vecchio as we continue on with our tasting tour!

We will meet on the steps of the Chiesa di Sant’Ambrogio (Sant’Ambrogio Church). It is located right in the piazza at the intersection of 3 streets.

Our Florence food tour with Christy was such a great experience for our group of 5. Christy was so knowledgable and really tailored the tour to our group which included 2 picky tweens. She was very patient with us and altered the tour to make sure they could get the Italian pizza they were craving. She really felt like a friend and our kids said she was the favorite tour guide we had during our 9 night cruise and we had a lot. All if the stops offered a great taste of Florence along with a fun story. We really enjoyed our time with Christy

Had a great time with Christy and would higly recommend time with her in Florence. The tour was a great window into Florence cuisine. She took us to places we would have never come across and gave us insight into how the history of the city influenced the food. The tastings she chose we’re excellent and we ended up going back later in our trip with other members of our family. After the tour Christy put together an email with some restaurant and shopping recommendations which we’re very helpful. The fact she was from our home town (Rocheter, NY) was an unexpected ‘small world’ bonus. Any trip to Florence should have Christy as part of the itinerary. Read less
